History of The Elkhart State Bank 

The Elkhart State Bank was founded in 1911. In 1969 the bank became a member of the F.D.I.C. The bank has been and is a thriving institution serving Elkhart and Anderson County primarily. We pride ourselves in our customer relations and think of ourselves as the working man's bank. We are the only bank in the county that offers service charge free checking with no minimum balance requirements. The majority of our accounts are personal accounts. We also serve as the depository for the Elkhart Independent School District and the Slocum Independent School District.
